The visit will begin with a short walk through the historical center of Pienza, a unique example in the world of an ideal Renaissance city, to admire important monuments and a splendid view over the Orcia Valley and Mount Amiata.

The tour will continue with a visit to a dairy farm in the town of Pienza to observe the cheese manufacturing process and will be accompanied by a pleasant tasting of various types of Pecorino produced there, combined with the different qualities of Montalcino honey: an irresistible combination.

Following this, the tour goes on to reach the beautiful town of Montepulciano, called the Pearl of the Sixteenth Century due to its Renaissance monuments. The village is situated in a panoramic location on the hills overlooking the Val d’Orcia and the Val Chiana. The itinerary will allow you to admire the great architecture and breathtaking views and to explore one of the centuries-old cellars in the old town. The guided tour of one of the wine aging cellars will be accompanied by a pleasant tasting that will permit the experience of the unique characteristics of the Nobile di Montepulciano.
