In the middle of the beautiful Tuscan countryside and surrounded by Brunello vineyards, the tour will start in Montalcino, with a stop at a historical winery.
The exploration of the cellars, guided by experienced and specialized staff, will be followed by a pleasant tasting that will help you to understand the organoleptic qualities of Brunello, one of the most famous wines in the world.
The tour will continue with a visit to the Romanesque Sant’Antimo Abbey, a truly magical place that was built in the twelfth century.
For lunch, you can stop in one of the typical restaurants in the historic center of Montalcino to savor traditional Tuscan dishes such as pici, Cinta Senese meats, and local cheeses, as well as ribollita or Chianina steak.
For a lighter meal, you can also taste typical Sienese products while sipping a good Brunello at Enoteca La Fortezza di Montalcino, located in the town’s tower, a charming place from which you can access the ancient walls, which have walkways that overlook the entire surrounding countryside.
